Welcome to StudyIt. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using StudyIt, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

StudyIt is a mobile application that helps users create and study flashcards. Features include:

Creating and organizing flashcard decks
Scanning study materials using your camera
Importing images from your photo library
Spaced repetition learning algorithms
Progress tracking and statistics

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscriptions and Payments

StudyIt Pro Subscription

Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial period at no cost.

Billing: After the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.

Plans Available:

Monthly subscription
Annual subscription

            Important Subscription Information:
            Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

        

5. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly. We cannot process refunds for App Store purchases.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in StudyIt (flashcards, decks, notes). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

You agree not to create content that:

Violates any laws or regulations
Infringes on intellectual property rights
Contains malicious code or harmful content
Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading

7. Intellectual Property

StudyIt and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the app
Reverse engineer or decompile the app
Use the app for any commercial purpose without permission
Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app
Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
Use automated systems to access the app
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StudyIt regarding your use of the app.
