StudyIt ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

• Account Information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create your account.
• Study Content: Flashcards, decks, and study materials you create are stored locally on your device.
• Photos and Camera: When you use the camera or photo library to scan study materials, images are processed locally to create flashcards. We do not upload or store your photos on our servers.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app, such as features used, session duration, and app performance metrics.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting.
• Crash Reports: Anonymous crash logs to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

Subscription Information

• Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details.

3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Your study content (flashcards, decks, progress) is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms. This data is not synced to external servers unless you explicitly enable sync features.

Security: We use industry-standard security measures including encryption to protect your data. Authentication tokens are stored securely using iOS Keychain.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in these circumstances:

• Service Providers: With trusted partners who assist in operating our app (e.g., analytics, crash reporting), bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

5. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: For authentication
• RevenueCat: For subscription management
• Analytics: For anonymous usage statistics

Your study data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Account information is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

11. International Users

If you are accessing our app from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
